OK.rb is a group of Ruby programmers in and around the Oklahoma City area.  We get together once a month to to share details of our jobs, Ruby projects we are working on or interested in, and just to chit chat with our fellow programmers.

We welcome Rubyists of all levels.  Beginners are encouraged to come and learn and experts are needed to share their experiences.  Even those just interested in hearing more about Ruby are welcome to attend.

Rubyists to the east of us may wish to checkout our sister group Tulsa.rb.

Our Gatherings

Our meetings are typically held on the second Thursday of each month, though room and member availability sometimes forces us to move the date.  Please see the upcoming meeting details in the sidebar on the right hand side of this page for exact dates.

We usually meet at the Edmond Public Library at 6:30 PM:

The meeting rooms are off main lobby to the left.  Just look for the room with all of the laptops in it.

Where we Talk

The best place to keep up with the goings on of our group and talk with our members is on our mailing list.  Some of our members also tend to hang out in the #okrb IRC channel on freenode.net.  Do drop in and say hello.
